I got it and immediately went to use it. Pretty self explanatory to me as I read through the instructions. It's a lengthy process if your hair is as thick as mine. Start at the bottom in the back I think is best. Go over each strand more than once I went through only half of my hair and not that much was cut off I was pleasantly surprised. I think you can clearly tell which side of my hair has fewer dead ends. My boyfriend said "it looks shorter and thin, like you lost all the body to your hair" and I'm confused how he thinks friz is body but a different view point to consider. I love it, was on the fence for a long time. (The right side of the photo is the side I went through. )
I did an at home silk press and while I was straightening my hair in tiny sections, I would go in with the trimmer and it turned out perfect. My ends were terrible before I bought this product!!
